The Problem of the current System:

Digital users are discouraged from becoming involved with the design of the digital world.

Instead, profit and power driven incentives have been the drivers behind design decisions with large scale consequences, including human rights violations. Direct translations of rights into the digital world has been insufficient. Therefore, a fourth generation of human rights expansion is required.
